Hennie is a London and Seoul based scenographer, visual dramaturg, performance maker, and co-founder of Ludic. Her practice and research focus varies: on deconstruction of text into movement making, establishing a functioning mechanism as a form of scenography, participatory / community art, neuroaesthetics, cognitive re-development as movement generator and emancipation of the creative process from its artist, etc.
Hennie designs movement based projects for non-dancers and dance artists, often where one is required to use the process of sensing, perceiving and reacting through embodiment. Initiating various collaborations, she aspires to investigate new conceptual frameworks to transmit narrative in performative spaces.
